This summer, our E-Panthers discovered that keeping your cool isn’t about holding your emotions in—it’s about learning to honor God in how you respond. Now, as our youth prepare to head back to school, we’re excited to continue that journey. EPICS Keeping Your Cool Institute proudly presents the E-Panther Back-to-School Leadership Academy for youth and young adults ages 12–19.

What youth learn
Know yourself. Grow in character. Show healthy leadership. Share your gifts.
Through engaging lessons, discussions, activities, and biblical principles, youth will learn how to:
- PAWS before they pounce
- Manage anger and emotions in healthy, God-honoring ways
- Build confidence and resilience
- Navigate peer pressure and social media wisely
- Develop healthy friendships and communication skills
- Grow as Kingdom leaders in their schools, homes, churches, and communities
Parents
Parents are part of the journey too.
Parents are part of the journey too. Parents will have opportunities to grow alongside their youth through parent small groups, in-person or hybrid discussions, and practical resources designed to help families continue the conversation and growth at home.

Cost
What the pilot costs, in full.
Two ways to take part: the 12-week cohort, or a week-by-week family drop-in with no long-term commitment.

Family Drop-In Experience
$125 per week · One youth + one parent or guardian
A flexible, family-centered experience designed to help youth build emotional and relational skills while equipping parents with practical tools to support growth at home.
Your weekly family experience includes
Youth group — 60 minutes
Interactive lessons, skill-building, discussion, activities, and practical tools for emotional wellness and healthy relationships.
Parent growth and education
Access to a 12-course parent education library, plus two live parent connection sessions per family. Parents can watch the course when they have time. Connection group one opens the pilot with orientation, expectations and parent goals; connection group two closes it with reflection, what changed, what worked, what’s next, and feedback.
Prayer support — complimentary
Families have access to prayer support as an added source of encouragement throughout their participation, in person or virtually.
Two complimentary 15-minute coaching sessions
Each family receives two brief parent coaching sessions during the pilot to help apply program concepts to their family’s specific needs.
Flexible drop-in participation
Attend the weeks that work best for your family. No long-term commitment required. In-person and virtual options available.
Parent coaching is educational and skill-focused and is not a substitute for individual counseling or psychotherapy.
Scholarships
Scholarships available, while funds last
Scholarships may be available through the EPICS J.R. Foundation for eligible youth who qualify for financial assistance. Scholarships are limited and awarded based on eligibility and available funding.
