Disclosure and scope of services

Vanessa Cox is a Licensed Professional Counselor; however, the services offered through the EPICS Keeping Your Cool Institute are educational, faith-based, and formation-focused unless otherwise expressly identified as professional counseling services provided through EPICS Counseling Services.

Institute programs are designed to support biblical education, emotional awareness, personal growth, spiritual formation, discipleship, character development, and healthy behavioral change. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, or provide psychotherapy for mental health disorders.

Participation in an Institute program does not, by itself, establish a therapist-client relationship.

The Institute does not discourage participants from seeking professional mental health, medical, or other appropriate services when needed. Individuals experiencing a mental health crisis or requiring clinical treatment should seek appropriate professional care.

Spiritual support, prayer, inner-healing, and freedom/deliverance-oriented services are offered as faith-based spiritual support and are not represented as substitutes for medical or mental health treatment.

Applied to every service

Questions about any of this?

Ask before you enrol. We would rather answer a question twice than have someone join a program expecting something it is not.
