Her calling
Beginning with the end in mind.
She is also the author of the EPICS Keeping Your Cool 16-Week Anger Management Curriculum for urban youth ages 9–16 and the Founder of the EPICS Keeping Your Cool Institute, a biblically grounded emotional formation program designed to cultivate Christlike self-control, emotional maturity, personal responsibility, and spiritual growth.
As a called and ordained minister, Mrs. Cox is passionate about equipping individuals to break unhealthy cycles, steward their emotions biblically, and walk fully in their God-given identity, purpose, and destiny.
The driving force behind her life’s work has been a commitment to living with integrity, serving others, and helping individuals and families envision and pursue a healthier future.
Mrs. Cox retired from the mental health profession on March 1, 2023, to devote herself full-time to her private practice, entrepreneurial endeavors, ministry, and life’s purpose.
Mrs. Cox has built her life’s work around the principle of “beginning with the end in mind.” Her vision has been to help individuals and families affected by environmental stressors, unhealthy patterns, and challenging life circumstances envision a better future and develop the skills and support necessary to pursue it.
Drawing from both professional experience and personal life experiences, she was inspired to develop an anger management curriculum specifically designed to address the needs of urban youth.
